Mold and Mildew
Unsealed concrete located in heavily shaded spots often have issues with mold and mildew growth, especially if weather conditions are damp and humid. The best solution is to scrub the affected areas with a mold-killing detergent or a simple solution of household bleach and water (about 1 cup bleach per gallon of water). If you’re worried about damage to plant life, distilled white vinegar can also be effective.

- Sealing the cement proventing it from growing
- Hose or squeegee off the excess water
- Using a 1500-3000 PSI powerwasher with disc like the one shown below
